Stephanie Bell, RMT

Stephanie graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program in 2010. Since she become a part of our team, she has gained experience working with a variety of conditions such as sports injuries, MVA’s (motor vehicle accidents), work related accidents, terminal illnesses, chronic pain conditions, TMJ dysfunction, and general stress relief.  She has also gained experience volunteering massage therapy at the Rugby 7’s Tournament, GF Strong, UBC Athletics, Royal Columbian Hospital, Friends for Life and the Burnaby RCMP.

Since graduating, Stephanie has taken continuing education courses and as a result has been drawn to a more holistic way of healing.  She uses a variety of techniques such as: Active Release Therapy (ART), Trigger Point Release, Myofascial release, low grade joint mobilizations, sports massage, craniosacral therapy, and TMJ release, all of which aid in the treatment of her clients and help to improve their quality of life.  Stephanie is a strong believer that every body is different physically and emotionally, and every client of hers is treated specifically to their presenting symptoms.  With compassionate guidance and support for each person’s individual needs, she believes that everyone can find that balance of health and wellness.

Stephanie has been an athlete her entire life playing soccer at the Provincial and National levels in her teens.  Health and wellness are extremely important to her and are practised every day by means of proper nutrition, exercise and self time.  In her spare time, she is an avid snowboarder throughout the winter and spends most of her time with friends and family, hiking, snow shoeing or playing guitar.

Jordan Wearing, RMT

Jordan graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2012. She is trained to work with a wide variety of clientele using techniques such as myofascial and trigger point release, active release therapy, and Swedish massage. These can help with a variety of injuries, as well as overall stress and tension. As an avid sports fan (Go Canucks!) she has many experiences working with athletes of all ages and has a strong skill set in athletic massage.

Since college, Jordan has taken post-graduate courses on stretch therapy and believes that you are an equal partner in your healing process and that understanding how your body works plays a big role in it. Being a dancer for 10 years, she understands the importance of self awareness and taking care of your body. Because of this, she enjoys combining therapeutic treatment with effective home-care. She strives to give you the best treatment and knowledge possible, so you can have a great experience both inside and outside the clinic.

Chris Spalding, RMT

Chris has always had an infatuation for the health sciences and a strong passion for helping others, which was his driving force to pursue a career in massage therapy. He has learned first-hand that no one fits into a text book and massage treatments must be customized as every individual’s body and that body’s tissues respond differently.

Using a variety of assessments as well as techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilizations and many others, he has been able to help patients progress towards their wellness goals, as well as discover and adapt to new ones.

Chris’s focus is on you and helping you attain whatever goal is necessary to re-establish balance between you and your body.
